NEXT MEETINGS

April 24 Was Derby Race Night We would like to thank all our parents and grandparents for a very successful evening. The racers were proud and loud. In case you didn't get the pictures you wanted there are some on this newsletter's photo link. Big thank yous to Mrs. Beckler for the delicious cakes, to Mr. Alan Wright and ( Eagle candidate ) Joe Wright for orchestrating our race electronics.  Phoenix Roche took first place in his den and won the overall Pack championship. Avery Beckler won the pack runner-up championship. Many scouts won a trophy to place on their trophy shelf.  All had a good time.   Sleepy Hollow Campout money is due ($20 per camper)by next week, May 1st meeting.   Steve Burghoff must have the numbers of campers for our grocery purchases  as soon as possible and the money soon after.  We are in the three week Cravings Popcorn Fundraiser - please support our program.

May 1  Thursday Den meetings ( still selling Cravings Popcorn for 1 more week !) At this meeting we will be working on scout books and rank advancement.

May 6   First Tuesday Parent meeting at Lansing Mall Food Court ( 6:30 - 7:30 ) Sleepy Hollow Menu and shopping must be discussed.

 MAY 8  Conservation Officer Officer Thorn will visit and talk with the scouts.       ALSO... All Money and sales forms for popcorn  are due ( no exceptions ). Money is due at Cravings Friday morning. Parents will keep the sales sheet- we will only hand in the total bags needed and  the money .     Parents will need the sales forms to deliver their popcorn on June 5th..

May 15  Thursday Den meetings Scouts will work from scout books for advancement. ( Sleepy Hollow Tent needs finalized )

May 16-17-18 Fri-Sat-Sun Sleepy Hollow campout

May 22  Blue and Gold Banquet night ( scout awards -  any rank advancements, dish to pass dinner, FOS talk,

 Our Den Leaders have requested at least two meetings a month to pace rank advancement benchmarks in our scout books. Therefore, we must chose our outings/visitors with care.There are  only "so many" Thurs. nights.

On the horizon.... Conservation officer, May 16,17,18 campout at Sleepy Hollow- Friday night and Saturday night come home Sunday morning. fee is $2.00 per night per camper. plus $16 for food.  We will collect $20 by May 1st.August 23rd is Lugnut Park game and sleepover should be around $17 per camper. I understand Webelos Woods is the weekend before the Sleepy Hollow campout ( May 10 ), our Blue and Gold Banguet comes on May 22nd. Summer Lugnut Sleepover is in August
